“I wanted to decipher the poem intuitively. There are times when various emotions sweep through me. I feel there is a need to separate those emotions and face them, to be able to look at them directly. Happiness, sadness, anger, pain—all emotions are separated and seen as they are. Of course, there are times when all of those emotions are connected.”
This series of drawings captures the intimate moments of consolation from seeing fragments of sunlight in everyday settings. Each piece stands on its own but also exists as part of a whole.
