Wet stars scooped from the cliff of two lives Sangwon Jo
resin, fabrics collected from the streets, paper cup, rain water
This work portrays two scenes from the artist’s experience: the first depicts witnessing three layers of sheer tarps draped over a homeless tent in London, while the second involves the artist sinking his head into a basin full of water, initially for a rather depressing purpose, but soon noticing that the water is leaking even through the pushed-down basin plug. By bridging these events, this installation defines the encountering of 'wet stars.'
